Adam Miller joined Knight Transportation in September 2002. He was appointed as CFO in May 2012 and served as the Secretary and Treasurer since February 2011. Prior to becoming CFO of Knight Transportation, Mr. Miller served as the Senior Vice President of Accounting and Finance from February 2011 to May 2012 and as Controller of Knight Refrigerated, LLC from January 2006 to February 2011. Prior to his appointment as Controller of Knight Refrigerated, LLC, Mr. Miller served in several other accounting and finance positions at Knight since 2002. Following the merger with Swift Transportation in September 2017, Mr. Miller was appointed as the CFO of Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings Inc. November 13, 2020, Adam Miller was appointed President of Swift Transportation and will continue to serve as the Chief Financial Officer of Swift’s parent company, Knight-Swift. Adam earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Arizona State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Arizona.  

Father to three active kids who keep him and his amazing wife on the move. When he has a break from work, nothing beats a date night with his wife or a movie night with his kids. Enjoys exercising and watching football, but not at the same time.  

Jim Fitzsimmons has served as the Executive Vice President of Operations at Swift since September 2018. Mr. Fitzsimmons joined Swift in 1993 and has held numerous leadership positions. Before his current position, Mr. Fitzsimmons served as Regional Vice President from 2006-2018 and Senior Vice President of Operations from January 2018 to September 2018. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Arizona State University.  

Jim enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and their three teenagers at the lake, off-roading or just relaxing at the house. Jim also likes working out, weekend trips to Puerto Penasco, Mexico & anything with a lot of horsepower!  

Mike Ruchensky joined Swift Transportation in 2003 as Vice President and Chief Information Officer.  Following the merger with Knight Transportation in September 2017, Mr. Ruchensky transitioned to his current role as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings Inc. and is responsible for all areas of technology for Knight-Swift Holdings.  Prior to Knight-Swift, Mr. Ruchensky held numerous technology positions at AlliedSignal, Sara Lee, and J-Del.  Mr. Ruchensky holds a B.A. in Accounting from Ottawa University and an MBA from Baker University.  

Away from work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and family, playing a little golf and, of course, following his beloved Broncos, Jayhawks, and Royals.  

Rachel Monti joined Swift Transportation in May 1998, beginning her tenure in pricing, after which she helped lead quality assurance ISO certification efforts.  Starting in 2000, Ms. Monti began serving in human resource positions of increasing responsibility.  Ms. Monti has held the top leadership position in Human Resources for more than ten years, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer.  Ms. Monti earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of South Alabama and her Master of Counseling degree from the University of Phoenix.  She holds multiple professional certifications in the human resources specialty.  

Having always been an avid traveler, Rachel finds it hard to stay in one place.  Close to home, she often explores Arizona's hiking trails or witnesses the amazing beauty of its scenery by motorcycle.  When she has free time, her passion is traveling within the U.S. and internationally.  Rachel loves to experience other places and traditions because it expands her appreciation of diverse cultures as well as her own. Her record for the longest single flight (so far) is a little over 16 hours traveling to Australia.  

Tim Harrington joined Swift in 1997. He has served as Executive Vice President of Sales since May 2018. Before he was appointed Executive Vice President of Sales, Mr. Harrington served as Regional Vice President of Sales from 2006 to 2011 and from 2016 to 2018. From 2011 to 2016, Mr. Harrington served as Vice President of Network Operations. Before these roles, Mr. Harrington served in several leadership positions in sales and operations. Mr. Harrington earned his bachelor's degree from the University of South Dakota.  

Mark Deere is the Senior Vice President of Swift Dedicated Fleet Services, one of the nation's largest dedicated fleet providers. During his 16-year Swift career, he has also held executive leadership roles in both Dedicated and Linehaul Operations, including stints as V.P. Customer Service, V.P. Network Capacity Management, V.P. Western Operations, and V.P. Dedicated Sales. He joined Swift via the M.S. Carriers acquisition in 2001. Mark is a 30+ year veteran of the transportation industry with prior leadership roles as Senior V.P. Operations at Transport Industries and President of Lake Shore-Pacific Corporation, along with multiple managerial positions at CRST International and Hormel Foods. Mark holds both a BBA in Finance and an MBA from the University of Iowa.    

Mark recently became an "empty-nester" and is looking forward to more free time… Mark and his family are avid sports fans and have been to over 100 different sporting venues around the country.  Relaxation includes creating rustic wood projects for friends and family in his development as a "hack" artist.  

Reed Stultz earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management at Arizona State University and joined Knight Transportation shortly after in 2003. He served multiple operation and sales roles including VP of Dedicated and VP of Strategic Accounts for Logistics.  In 2021 Reed was appointed the Vice President of Knight-Swift Logistics with a responsibility in implementing strategies to optimize operations, while leveraging technology to increase efficiency and reduce operating costs.

Reed is the husband of a wonder wife, with 2 active children that love sports. He enjoys beach vacations with the family and has passion for all things golf.

Dustin Ohlman joined Swift Transportation in June of 2018 as VP of Intermodal Operations until his recent promotion to Senior Vice President of Intermodal Operations in February of 2021. Before joining the Swift Team, from 2012 to 2018, Mr. Ohlman was responsible for managing a private fleet including network distribution, demand planning, data science, and analytics for one of the largest printing companies in the US.

Dustin Ohlman acquired his Bachelor of Science Accounting from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga in 2008.

During his off time, Dustin enjoys spending time with his three great children and managing disputes between the two youngest. He also enjoys Friday night movie nights with his oldest. When he is not playing referee for his kids, he enjoys attending Suns games, watching sports on tv, and swimming. 

Cary Flanagan has served as our Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer since September 2017. Prior to his current position, he served as Swift’s Vice President and Corporate Controller from 2008 to September 2017 and as its Director of Financial Reporting at Swift from 2006 to 2008. Prior to joining Swift, he served in various accounting positions from 1994 to 2006, including as an Audit Manager with KPMG LLP from 2000 to 2004 and an Audit Senior at Perkins & Co. from 1996 to 2000. Cary earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Puget Sound and is a Certified Public Accountant.

In his free time, Cary enjoys spending time with his amazing wife and his two adult sons.  Taking advantage of Arizona’s weather, he tries to spend as much time outside as possible hitting the hiking trials or venturing out on his mountain bike.  As time permits, he and his wife love to travel with their favorite, repeat destination being Ireland.

Mr. Jackson has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Knight, and now Knight-Swift, and a member of the board of directors of Knight since January 2015. He has served as the President of Knight, and now Knight-Swift, since February 2011. Mr. Jackson previously served as Knight’s Chief Financial Officer from 2004 until 2012. He has been with Knight since 2000. Mr. Jackson served as Knight’s Treasurer from 2006 to 2011 and Knight’s Secretary from 2007 to 2011. Prior to his appointment as the CFO, Mr. Jackson served in several positions at Knight between 2000 and 2004. The selection of Dave Jackson as a director was based among other things, upon his extensive transportation leadership, finance experience, and his deep understanding of the Knight culture and commitment to maintaining our financial and operating performance.

Mr. Knight has served as the Chairman of the board of directors of Knight since 1999 (including as the Executive Chairman since January 2015) and served as the CEO of Knight from 1993 through December 2014, and currently serves as a full-time executive officer of the Company in his role as Executive Chairman. He has been one of our officers and directors since 1990. From 1975 to 1984 and again from 1986 to 1990, Mr. Knight was employed by Swift, where he served as Executive Vice President and President of Cooper Motor Lines, Inc., a former Swift subsidiary. Mr. Knight currently serves on the board of directors and Executive Committee of the American Trucking Associations. Mr. Knight is the first cousin of Gary Knight. The selection of Mr. Knight as a director was based, among other things, upon his extensive experience in business operations and exemplary executive leadership since Knight's founding. Mr. Knight also has exhibited commendable dedication to our financial and operating performance.

Mr. Knight has served as the Vice-Chairman of the board of directors of Knight since 2004 and currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Company. Mr. Knight served as Knight's President from 1993 to 2004 and has been one of Knight's officers and a member of Knight's Board since 1990. From 1975 until 1990, Mr. Knight was employed by Swift, where he was an Executive Vice President. Mr. Knight is the first cousin of Kevin Knight. The selection of Mr. Knight as a director was based upon, among other things, his significant leadership experience and knowledge of the company. Mr. Knight's qualifications to serve on our Board also includes his extensive knowledge of the transportation industry.

Mr. Carlson has served as our General Counsel and Secretary since September 2017. Prior to his current position, Mr. Carlson served as the General Counsel of Knight since 2007. Prior to joining Knight, Mr. Carlson was Vice President and Corporate Counsel at Swift from 1991 to 2007. Mr. Carlson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska and earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law. Mr. Carlson is admitted to practice law in the State of Arizona.
